Well, I didn’t get a chance to make a new wallpaper for the 4th of July this year, but here’s last year’s paper - one of my favorites!  Get it in 1024×768 or 1280×1024.

Well I finally got through some serious crash course coding and trial and error to produce a decent theme for the site - I couldn’t stand the look of the default one anymore.  It’s a work in progress - let me know what you think, suggestions, etc.

Technically, the site works just as it did, though I did add a login form right there in the sidebar.  You can login or register from there rather than going to another page.  After you login you can begin to write content, change your profile, and more through your own little control panel - neat huh?

There’s a few more critical things I need to get worked out.  First, the categories need to be slimmed down and organized.  I think I’ve found a way to do this, but still need to check out the code.  Second, and most importantly, I need to figure out a way to allow you guys to submit images with your posts rather than having me do it - again, I think there’s a good way, I just have to look at all the ins and outs

Now I’m sure there’s a few bugs in the works, so if you find any - post a comment!  I’ve run it through IE and Firefox, but none of the other browsers, so if you use one of the other ones, let me know how it looks!

Greetings DD fans -

Everything is really starting to shape up around here.  I’m currently working on the look of the site - learning all the ins and outs of WordPress in order to get this place looking like the old DD site we all know and love. 

A couple of things I’d like to pass on to our fans -

First, and most importantly, anyone will be able to register with the site and post content. (with review of course).  Using WordPress, it’s as easy as logging in and typing up your thoughts just like you would in your favorite word processing program - hit the submit button and you’re golden. 

And second, viewers will be able to post comments in regards to your posts.  Whenever a comment is posted an alert will be sent to your email box so you’ll always be up to date with discussions going on over your posted content. 

So keep an eye on this space - DD is evolving!

Hello Drunk Dwarves Fans - and please, don’t mind the mess.

As you can see, DD is going under a bit of an overhaul.  We’re going to a blog format to allow our contributors to post as they like, wherever they like, without having to submit everything to me, your humble webmaster. 

It may take a few weeks to get everything sorted out, but it will be worth it!
